Nello Gonfiantini has more than 30 years of direct experience within the real estate industry. When forming Specialty Financial, he personally selected a forward-thinking and experienced team of professionals to manage the company and serve as fiduciaries of investor capital. As of June 30, 2009, the senior management team of Specialty Financial held average individual experience of more than 25 years. Specialty Financial serves as the manager and advisor for a diverse group of companies that engage in various roles within the real estate industry. The company is currently managing approximately $450 million of assets for its investors within a variety of real estate products. These investment vehicles include direct and pooled mortgage lending, land holdings and real estate development projects. Specialty Financial is also the advisor to Specialty Trust, Inc., a real estate investment trust (REIT). Specialty Trust manages a diversified portfolio of short-term mortgage loans to residential and commercial real estate developers. As of June 30, 2009, Specialty Trust had approximately $240 million in assets.
